About Nancy Patterson
Born in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Nancy was raised in a very active, athletic, and artistic family. She spent her early years in Somerton, PA. involved in many activities including gymnastics, ballet, ice skating, skiing, surfing, windsurfing and racing small sailboats in the back bays of southern New Jersey where she spent her summers. Nancy raced in both the International Moth Class and Laser Class sailboat from her early childhood. She still enjoys sailing as well as teaching sailing to this day. Her father, a gymnastics and sailing coach, along with her mother who was both a sailor and an artist gave her an early start in the things that are now her passion. Nancy I love how you use the color green in this painting. The white flower contrast against the greens are just beautiful! Even the rich colors of the bird house compliments the whole painting and i see the texture in the water can. Great Works!
