Description

A Christmas tree ornament that belonged to my grandmother. It dates back to about 1885. It's a very large & heavy ornament that was meant to hang on the branch under the candle. The weight of the ball would pull the branch down ... giving more room for the candle to burn safely. It's a cherished family piece that is a wonderful reminder of the past.
